Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics was established in 2008-09. Presently, it has been conducting the graduate level course (B.Sc.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs in Mathematics with the major objective of developing a center of excellence especially in Mathematical Sciences. There is one full time faculty member and four temporary faculty members working in the department. This department has been organizing many co- curricular activities for students like Seminar Competition, Poster Presentation Competition, Mathematical Quiz Competition, Group Discussion, Remedial coaching for slow learners etc. The faculty of Department actively participates in the extension services in college such as, Science Association, Examination Work, College academic & Research Cell, Soft Skills Development Program. Apart from teaching, all the faculty members of the department are actively involved in research and development.
