Bridge Courses

The main objective of the course is to bridge the gap between subjects studied at Pre-university level and subjects they would be studying in 12th Standard. The Essential & fundamentals of 10 +2 level subjects are necessary to understand the subject at an ease. Therefore the bridge course is designed in such a way that it becomes the part of curriculum of 12th Standard and B.A/B.Com/B.Sc. subjects. The Bridge course is aimed to act as a buffer for the new enters with some objectives to provide adequate time for the transition to hard core of degree course.

Objectives:

• To provide adequate foundation in the basic applied science subject, so that students do not face any difficulty when the university classes begin.
• This course provides a better transition phase to prepare themselves before the onset of course for first semester
• To bridge the gap between subjects studied at pre-university level and subjects they would be studying in B.A/B.Com/B.Sc. classes.
• Bridge course act as a buffer for new entrance.
• Interactive & active learning students will be equipped with knowledge and the confidence before first year course. It is a course conduct by some Department by framing their own syllabus from the session 2016-17 as per their time table It is an independent Programme of LBSAC for newly admitted B.A/B.Com/B.Sc. first year students. The reason is to construct such bridge courses as per our observation that students have virtually stopped studying after completion of their 10+2 exams, competitive exams & it’s a long gap in studies.
• To full fill this gap, our college conducts such bridge course for newly admitted students before the commencement of B.A/B.Com/B.Sc. first year classes.

On the last day of bridge course each lecturer made aware the students about their subject programme outcomes at university pattern to prepare them for new challenges.
